Passionate followers of the pop star are demanding that a individual who breached a barricade and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating clip shows the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

History of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram account features videos of him disrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further response on Instagram.

Some fans also faulted guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.
