Dan Burn A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, as always, perhaps is an alternative for Stones in defense rather than his partner. A careless ball after the break came close to an opener for Albania. Six

Nico O’Reilly One more confident showing by the rising star after his debut against Serbia. A teammate was unable to take the opportunity from a clever backheel behind the Albania defence. The role is firmly his so soon. 7/10

Adam Wharton His first start with the national team. Somewhat sloppy on the ball though his whipped corners were a threat. A handy game manager available to the coach to utilize versus defensive opponents. Booked for a rash tackle. 6/10

Declan Rice Set-pieces on corner kicks and free kicks created chances. Had license to drift in left midfield but was in an offside position upon receiving in shooting positions. Given a merited break on the hour mark. 6

Jude Bellingham Operated in a high role out wide while also contributed with the hard yards. Demonstrated flashes of quality but dragged an attempt over. Replaced in the closing stages by a teammate, his rival, following a yellow card. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s top opening in the opening period, his effort excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. With a teammate holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet on the right although his balls into the box were inconsistent. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

The captain The decisive figure with his 77th and 78th strikes at international level. The first a trademark opportunist's goal and the second a classy finish with his head after peeling away off his defender. At 32, he continues to improve with the national team are strong contenders in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Had difficulty to influence play out wide. Was presented with a good opening when set up from a teammate yet Strakosha denied him. Rashford made much more of an impact when substituted. 5/10
